Golden Current is an individually selected, traditional hand-beaten singing bowl with a centred C4 base note, a prominent G5 overtone and a bright F♯6 upper resonance.

Its sound begins with a warm, steady foundation before opening into a clear, lively shimmer. The strong contrast between the grounded base tone and radiant upper frequencies gives this bowl a balanced and expressive voice.

The note C is commonly associated with grounding, stability and the root chakra. This bowl is well suited to meditation, mindful listening, yoga, sound baths, relaxation practices and personal ritual.

Every hand-beaten singing bowl has its own individual shape, markings and tonal character. The photographs and sound recording on this page belong to the exact bowl you will receive.

Playing your bowl:

Gently strike the outer wall to hear its natural layered tones. For continuous resonance, hold the bowl on your open palm or place it on the cushion, then slowly guide the mallet around the outer rim using light, even pressure.
