Tibetan Prayer Flags are auspicious flags that contain images of deities, mantras and prayers.  They are traditionally believed to bring happiness, peace, prosperity, good fortune, health and victory over obstacles.

Each colour of the flag symbolises an element. White symbolises air, red is fire, green is water, yellow is earth, and blue is wind. They also represent the directions of North, South, East, West and Centre.

Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras on the flags will be blown by the wind and spread their good will and compassion into all-pervading space.

Very happy with the prayer flags I purchased from Little Tibet. Urgyen is a fine craftsman and artist. His applique work is of a high standard - if a hand crafted image is out of reach consider the high quality prints! Fortunate to have his talent locally.

Thank you so much, Ian, for your kind words and support. 🙏 I’m very happy to hear that you are pleased with the prayer flags. Your appreciation of my appliqué work and Tibetan art means a lot to me. Thank you for supporting Little Tibet and this traditional craft.
